ChatGPT understands any input in many human languages, including English, German and French – and can converse in these languages. The answers are so impressive because they can hardly be distinguished from human statements and show expertise in many different areas. The possibility of having human-like dialogues has also caused quite a stir.

But how did the developers manage that ChatGPT can produce such high-quality answers? For this purpose, the language model was “fed” with huge amounts of data – this means that millions of texts with hundreds of billions of words and sentences were made available to the program. The sources: Wikipedia, GitHub, news websites, online forums and more.
The possible uses are huge due to this variety. The bot can write, summarize and interpret texts, explain the most complex relationships, write instructions and descriptions, write code and much, much more. The chatbot is not subject to any restrictions – only racist, sexist and violence-glorifying content was blocked by the developers.
