And the company already has a prestigious partner implementing it: Microsoft. The Mountain View firm, which invested $1 billion in the company in 2019, is looking to make its Bing search engine more user-friendly using ChatGPT.

Moreover, it does not intend to stop there, since according to The Information, the tech giant is also testing artificial intelligence on several of the Office suite software. Among the concerned by this new company: Word, Outlook or PowerPoint.

AI could write your emails

And the possibilities of using ChatGPT are many. Microsoft is thus working to improve user searches on the Outlook interface. They might no longer have to enter keywords, but simply write their one-sentence query to get the desired results. The possibility of having the AI ​​write complete emails based on a few indications is also explored.

On the Word side, the chatbox could give advice intended to improve the quality of writing. On PowerPoint, ChatGPT could use Teams meeting discussions to produce summaries and presentation slides.

Microsoft is already at the forefront in the use of artificial intelligence, in particular with its Microsoft Editor writing assistant. During the last CES, the manager in charge of Surface Panos Panay explained that ” AI will reinvent the way you do everything on Windows “. However, it is not yet clear if the company wants to quickly launch these new options, or if it is still only at the experimental stage.
