The MG 4 Electric is one of the cheapest electric compact cars on the market. The Chinese manufacturer has now revised it – or optimized it, as the saying goes. The steering assistant, which worked so poorly in the last test, is said to have already been updated. Now there are some new features.
A new function has been added to the preheating function available in all models in the Luxury variant. The battery can not only be actively preheated via the 10.25-inch touchscreen, which improves the charging time, but the process can also be automated after the update using the navigation and depending on the route to a charging station. Heated front seats, a heated A steering wheel made of microfiber leather and 17-inch aluminum wheels with two-tone wheel covers are now part of the standard equipment for both the MG 4 Electric Standard and the Comfort. All variants can be driven in one-pedal mode in future. The MG 4 Electric Luxury now comes standard with striking 18-inch aluminum rims with two-tone wheel trims. The heat pump previously reserved for the Luxury model is now also part of the standard equipment for the Comfort model. It heats the interior particularly efficiently, which means that a longer range can be available in cold temperatures. All three model variants now have a rear window wiper and a third rear headrest on board. The new prices for Austria will be announced shortly.
