The Indian Tata Motors formalizes a new electric car: Tiago.ev.
This new model is displayed at a price that should turn some heads, since it is set at only 10,000 euros.
An electric car at 10,000 euros at Tata Motors!
On the “low cost” electric vehicle market, we obviously know the little Dacia Spring, but now the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors is formalizing an even more attractive model, the Tiago.ev. It is a 100% electric version of the small Tiago, marketed since 2016.
This small five-door city car has very compact dimensions and features a 55 kW (75 hp) electric motor for 114 Nm of torque. The vehicle is offered with two batteries to choose from, namely 19 or 24 kWh, enough to travel 250 and 315 km respectively. On board, you can enjoy the choice of Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
The strong point of this new Tata Tiago.ev is obviously its price, since the small electric car is displayed from 849,000 rupees, or around 10,000 euros. The first orders will be honored from January 2023. In all likelihood, the Tiago.ev should remain exclusive to the Indian market.
