Cheeky coup – “Humble” car thieves are on the run

They are cheeky but also humble. Those burglars who attacked a farm in the Salzkammergut. Because they left everything there except for an old car that was parked in the courtyard. Now the police are looking for the crooks.

The crooks broke into the farm in Seewalchen am Attersee on Saturday night and may have had easy access through an open barn door. What exactly they were looking for is unclear, as nothing was destroyed. They only took the car key, which had been left in the front building, which was already part of the residential building. Only worth 5,000 euros. Then, unnoticed, they started the Skoda Yeti, which was standing in the inner courtyard, and disappeared with it. The value of the car: around 5000 euros. It is unclear whether it was a pure act of malice or whether they were “stranded” traveling crooks who simply needed a quick ride.
