Chester Bennington's widow Talinda is getting divorced after just one year of marriage. You and Michael want to continue "as friends".
Talinda Bennington (44), the widow of former Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington (1976-2017), is divorcing firefighter Michael Fredman after just one year of marriage. She announced this via Twitter. "I am ready to announce that Michael and I have decided to continue our lives as friends. Divorce is never easy, but in our case it is best," she writes.
"We have remained good friends and he continues to be an important part of my children's lives," the post said. Love and loss are part of life, and it is even more difficult when you have to do it in public. Finally, she thanks her followers for the love and support as well as the respect for privacy. Talinda Bennington and Michael Fredman got married in Hawaii on New Year's Eve 2019.
Chester Bennington suffered from depression and committed suicide in July 2017. The couple were married from 2005 until his death. In addition to their three children with his widow Talinda, Tyler (born 2006) and the twins Lily and Lila (born 2011), Bennington also had children Jaime (born 1996), Isaiah (born 1997) and Draven (born . 2002) from previous relationships.
