Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, 23, has been living in Styria on her husband Nino Sifkovits’ family farm since 2020. There they are raising their two children, Mavie, 3, and Matteo, 6 months. Your great hope? The daughter of actor Uwe Ochsenknecht, 67, recently revealed in a GALA interview that the little ones will “take over our farm” at some point.

Cheyenne wants to delve even deeper into the family business with her father-in-law Gerald, is currently training to become a skilled agricultural worker – and was prepared to take a financial risk to breed her Chianina cattle.

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht and Nino have sleepless nights because of the large loan amount

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht no longer wants to return to Berlin. She feels like she has arrived in her adopted home of Austria and is completely immersed in country life. But her life in the idyll of the village of Dobl is also full of challenges. In order to further advance the independently run family farm and for the well-being of their animals, Cheyenne and husband Nino have now made a large investment.

According to “Bunte”, they had to take out a loan of 500,000 euros to build a state-of-the-art stable. The loan amount of half a million euros causes the couple to have one or two sleepless nights. “Of course we’re afraid that we won’t be able to pay off our loan for our new cattle stable,” Cheyenne Ochsenknecht explains to “Bunte” and continues: “We’re both not yet 30 – so it’s really a big burden, like that raise a lot of money.”

Parties and concerts in the middle of farm life

Cheyenne takes her business very seriously. She also puts a lot of effort into her training – to Nino’s surprise. “Not many girls from the city would do such training,” he explained in a GALA interview a few days ago. That’s why he is so proud of his wife. But you don’t have to miss out on parties and concerts.

“Young people in particular are often afraid of taking over a business because then they would no longer have time for leisure and friends. We now have a lot more visits from our loved ones and still go to parties or concerts,” emphasizes Cheyenne in an interview “Colorful.”
