Proposed in the wake of the return of Good Doctor, and less than a year after the broadcast in France of the finale of season 7, this eighth new season of Chicago Med is indeed marked by the departure of no less than three regular members of the cast. Three comedians bid farewell to Chicago Med
Remember, the last episode of season 7 ended with a formidable cliffhanger which saw Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) find themselves locked inside a burning building.
When the action resumes at the start of season 8, the two doctors fortunately manage to escape unscathed, but Dylan must face the death of a person very dear to his heart. A tragedy that pushes him to leave the hospital, but also the city of Chicago, in order to make a new start.
Introduced last season, Doctor Dylan Scott leaves the series from the first episode of this eighth season of Chicago Med. A departure that adds to all those of previous seasons, from Connor (Colin Donnell) to Natalie (Torrey DeVitto), via April (Yaya DaCosta), Sarah (Rachel DiPillo) or Ava (Norma Kuhling). And which will be followed during season 8 by two other resounding releases.
Indeed, after eight years of good and loyal service, Nick Gehlfuss and Brian Tee, the interpreters of Will and Ethan, present since the beginning of the series, have decided to leave Chicago Med in their turn. The first to say goodbye will be Brian Tee, during the ninth episode of season 8, but to discover how the two characters will say goodbye, it will be necessary to continue following the adventures of the doctors of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center each Wednesday on TF1.

Love encounters and unexpected returns
Broadcast in the second half of the evening on TF1 at the rate of two new episodes per week, this new season of Chicago Med will once again be marked by many twists and turns.
On the side of the hospital, the heroes will have to face in particular a shortage of medical products strongly impacting the operations. While over the course of the season Jack Dayton (Sasha Roiz), an entrepreneur introduced during episode 4, will gradually establish himself as a major enemy for Will, Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) and Marcel (Dominic Rains), becoming the new owner of the hospital, who seeks only one thing: profit and money.
