This is how on Thursday February 23, 2023, the League in the interest of society and animals (LISA), located in Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes), filed a complaint for animal abuse against a 16-year-old girl who placed Missy, a chihuahua 1-year-old, in a clothes dryer because of the “cap or not cap” challenge. “We have just filed a complaint for acts of cruelty for the torture of little Missy, which led to her death, as well as for the two other dogs Nougat and Kyser (renamed by us Loco and Morice), one dyed black with chemical dyes (for hair) and the other locked up”, thus alerted the association on its Facebook account.

A challenge that the 16-year-old individual nevertheless denounced through a video of a few minutes: “You go after the same person when there were thirteen of us in the apartment. I know very well what I have done or not done. I know very well that I would never have touched a beast even if, despite the dyes and all that, despite the video, it’s true that you might think the opposite“, she lamented. And to add:I don’t have many arguments for the video, apart from the fact that I wasn’t laughing for the bitch, but for some bullshit that a friend of mine had said behind it even if it doesn’t explain. I didn’t have to.”

Dyes “harmful to the dog”
As well as placing Missy in a dryer, the 16-year-old subjected a hunting dog to many dyes. The animal’s white coat had thus been dyed black, its “sixth tincture” according to the family of its owner. Again, the minor sought to clear herself, stating: “I didn’t even know it was harmful to the dog”, while indicating to hope that with the judgment, “the truth will come out”.
