Child found dead in freezer after sister warned in secret note

A little American boy has been found dead in a freezer in a Las Vegas home.

A baby boy was found dead in a freezer in a Las Vegas home on Tuesday, USA Today reported. This macabre find was made after his sister sent a secret note to his mistress. In the message, the mother of the little girl had written that she was held captive by her companion, against her will, at her home. “She explained that she did not know where her youngest child was and said that she thought he was dead,” said Lt. Ray Spencer.

The teacher immediately alerted the authorities, who launched an investigation by sending a team to the scene. At that time, the mother and her companion were seen leaving the scene in a car. Police chased him and quickly apprehended the suspect, 35-year-old Brandon Toseland. Questioned by the police, the mother for her part explained that she had not seen her son since December 11, when she herself was the victim of abuse. “She said she was no longer allowed to leave the house alone or even go into the garage,” police said.

“Investigation in its Beginnings”

When Brandon Toseland was charged with kidnapping and incarcerated, investigators searched for the little boy and eventually found his body in the freezer, which was in the notorious garage where the mother was not allowed to go. Following this tragic discovery, authorities announced that murder charges were soon to be brought against the suspect. The latter is known to the courts, in particular for acts of domestic violence dating back to 2005.

The autopsy of the child will now have to determine the causes of his death. As for the mother, the police indicated that she was not currently considered to be involved in this murder, specifying however that “the investigation is in its early stages, there are still many questions which are without answers about the last three months”. The victim’s sister was placed in the care of relatives.
