China is seeking to establish a national framework for its supercomputers. The idea? Manage its digital projects and the development of emerging technologies, in particular artificial intelligence (AI).
This framework, which should be ready by the end of 2025, should bring together IT resources from across the country to support local development efforts. The aim is to establish a better coordinated system, in order to better distribute computing capacities where they are most needed, according to local media citing the Ministry of Science and Technology.
