Chivalry 2 is coming to Steam, with a major update

Available since June 8, 2021, Chivalry 2 was only playable via the Epic Games Store, on PC, since it was exclusive to this platform. As a result, many players had not tried the experience, waiting for its arrival on Steam. A year later, the exclusivity ends and Chivalry 2 will be playable on Valve’s platform.

Chivalry 2 is coming to Steam

Torn Banner Studios reported that Chivalry 2 will be available on Steam on June 12, a year and four days after its release. Excellent news for everyone, since it will also rekindle interest in the game, which had a successful release, despite the various problems, particularly related to servers or optimization.

In addition to this output, Chivalry 2 will get a major update, the biggest yet according to the developers, on all platforms (PC, PS4 and Xbox One). It will be version 2.5, named Tenosian Invasion. Among other things, we will be able to discover a new faction, new maps (for Objectives mode and Team Deathmatch) and much more that has not yet been revealed. It also looks like horses will be introduced with this update. According to the first information, they will only be available on the new maps, at first.

For the rest, note that other updates are planned for the end of 2022, including, among other things, full cross-play support and new weapons, in addition to various fixes.
