Chocolate cake without flour: the ingredients

  • 5 eggs

  1. Roughly chop the chocolate and melt over a water bath (or in a saucepan over low heat). Add the butter and melt as well.
  2. Place the eggs in a bowl and beat together with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy for a few minutes.
  3. Mix the ground almonds with the baking powder. Then add together with the chocolate butter to the egg and sugar mixture and mix everything into a smooth dough.
  4. Line the bottom of a springform pan with baking paper and grease the edge. Pour in the dough for the chocolate cake without flour, smooth it out and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for approx. 40 minutes. With the chopstick sample you can test whether the cake is cooked.
  5. When the chocolate cake is ready, you should let it cool down a bit. Then you can remove it from the mold, dust it with powdered sugar or cocoa powder and serve it.
