After their intimate wedding in the USA, Chris Evans and Alba Baptista reportedly want to get married again in Portugal.
They want to share their happiness with the whole family! Actor Chris Evans (42) and girlfriend Alba Baptista (26) reportedly got married in a small circle at his home in Massachusetts (USA) last weekend. Now, according to “Page Six”, the gossip portal of the “New York Post”, the couple is planning a second wedding party – in the bride’s homeland, Portugal.
“There is a second celebration for Alba’s relatives who were unable to attend in Massachusetts,” a source is quoted as saying. “Probably sometime this week. The two of them want to set off on their honeymoon from Portugal.”
Guests had to hand over their cell phones
Evans and the actress, who is 16 years his junior, reportedly tied the knot in an “intimate ceremony” at her home near Boston. The guest list included family and close friends, including Scarlett Johansson (38), Robert Downey Jr. (58) and Chris Hemsworth (40), Evan’s co-stars from the “Marvel” comic book films, as well as actor John Krasinski ( 43) and wife Emily Blunt (40). According to insiders, the guests had to hand over their cell phones and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Chris Evans is deeply in love
Chris Evans had kept his relationship with Batista secret for a long time. He only confirmed the relationship on his Instagram account in January 2023. At the start of the new year, the former “Captain America” released a video in which he humorously reflected on the past twelve months and at the same time made his love for Alba Baptista public. In the clip, he and his girlfriend took turns ambushing each other, each scaring each other with a loud scream.
The fact that Evans and the 26-year-old actress have been a couple for a while now reported “People” in November 2022. At the time, an anonymous source said they were serious about each other and “Chris has never been happier.” His family and friends are said to have already taken Baptista deeply into their hearts.
The reigning “Sexiest Man Alive” told People magazine last year on the topic of marriage and family: “It’s absolutely something I want. These things are some of the most important things in life. Baptista, who was born in Lisbon, has already made a name for herself on the German acting market. In 2021 she won the title of “European Shooting Star” at the Berlinale. According to People, Baptista is also involved in humanitarian causes and speaks five languages. In the cinema she was seen, among other things, in the tragicomedy “Mrs. Harris and a Dior Dress” alongside Isabelle Huppert (70).
As is well known, things have been going great professionally for Chris Evans for a long time.
