Big surprise in the Marvel universe: Apparently Chris Evans is about to return as Captain America.

Actually, Chris Evans (39, "Knives Out") had left the superhero existence after "Avengers: Endgame" behind. But according to a report from the industry site "Deadline", he could soon slip back into the role of Captain America.

Accordingly, Captain America should be seen again in at least one story of the Marvel universe. The "door for a second film" is also open, it continues. The deal, however, is far from being dry. It also seems unlikely that there will be two separate Captain America films. It is very likely that the superhero could appear in an important supporting role in other films or even series – similar to the appearance of Robert Downey Jr. (55) in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

We remember: At the end of "Endgame", Steve Rogers aka Captain America passed his shield on to Falcon, played by Anthony Mackies (42). This rounded off his personal story. However, with "Falcon & The Winter Soldier", Falcon has its own series in the pipeline for the streaming provider Disney +. Fans therefore suspect that Captain America could have his first appearance there.
