Chris Evans doesn’t reveal too much publicly about his relationship with Alba Baptista. In a new interview with GQ, he opens up a little and reveals at least something about the beginnings of their relationship.

Chris Evans posted a video on his Instagram channel for Valentine’s Day that shows him and Alba. The two joke around, wrestle and it becomes obvious how much fun they have together. The 42-year-old hasn’t revealed much more about their relationship, which is said to have started in 2022. He now reveals what he particularly likes about his wife in a portrait. “My girlfriend puts a lot of emphasis on people’s energy and first impressions. I don’t care so much because I feel like I don’t always present myself the same way either. So I try to hold off on judgment.” In the interview he speaks of Alba as his girlfriend; the text was written before the wedding.

Evans made three films in 2022 – a mammoth task. Especially for the relationship with Alba Baptista, which was still fresh at the time. The first few months in particular were a stress test, the 42-year-old remembers. “I initially told my girlfriend, who I’ve been with for a while now, that I would only make one film a year. And then when we were together for a few months, the first big boom came: we had to do it for a year move to Atlanta. When the year was over, I thought to myself, ‘Never again’.”
And that’s exactly why Chris Evans hasn’t made a single film in 2023, but has instead concentrated on his private life and said yes to his true love.
