He experienced moments of exhaustion… For ten years, Chris Marques suffered from fibromyalgia, a disease that combines permanent muscle or joint pain, chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, depressive symptoms and anxiety disorders. In the columns of Publicthe Dancing with the Stars juror explained: “This is not normal fatigue: it brings you down. In the morning, I had to choose between having a coffee or a shower. And that was it for the day! It lasted a little over ten years, from when I was 20 to when I was 31. I consider myself cured, but I kept the after-effects that I am starting to reduce with Weight Watchers: by changing my eating habits and playing sports, my energy has increased tenfold. It’s revenge on life.“Well in his body, the one who is Weight Watchers muse also said:”In one year, I lost twelve kilos.“
Last September, it was in an interview granted to Gala that Chris Marques had made heartbreaking secrets about the disease. “I had fibromyalgia for just over ten years. In addition to fatigue, there are pains, fevers, joints that hurt… With my wife, we said that if we admitted that I had this disease, in the professional, it was over. We made the decision to inform our parents, but we never talked about it. On the other hand, everything was arranged. We lived only to be able to continue to exist in our professional world and we found plenty of stratagems to be able to continue to dance. We still became world champions while being sick. People shouldn’t tell themselves that we’ll never get out of it. That’s why I decided to talk about it“, he had revealed. For Buzz TV, the star had added: “The problem with fatigue is that people just imagine a little tiredness of ‘I woke up a little tired’. It’s not that. It’s a fatigue that overwhelms you, that crushes you.“
Chris Marques: “This protocol worked for me”
After years of suffering, it is thanks to a candidate from the English version of Dance with the stars than Chris Marks managed to get better. While the latter explained to him that his wife also had fibromyalgia, it is in the columns ofParis here which he confided:He told me about a holistic therapy that I followed.
