Rose Rock has spoken. Comedian Chris Rock’s mother opened up about Will Smith’s punch at her son.
Chris Rock (57) remains silent about the hit Will Smith (53) gave him at the Oscars. The comedian’s mother has now commented on the incident for the first time. Rose Rock found in the TV station WIS-TV clear words.
“When Will slapped Chris, he slapped all of us,” Rose Rock said. “But he really slapped me. If you hurt my kid, you hurt me.”
The author and speaker was asked what she would say about Will Smith. “I have no idea what I would say other than, ‘What on earth were you thinking?'” After all, a lot worse could have happened. “Chris could have tripped and fallen. You could have been handcuffed. You weren’t thinking,” Rose Rock Smith addressed.

Chris Rock had made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s bald head, which she shaved off due to genetic hair loss. Will Smith laughed at the joke at first. Rose Rock slams Oscar Academy punishment
The Oscar Academy’s reaction is too weak for Rose Rock. The Academy bans Smith for ten awards.
“What’s that supposed to say? You don’t even go every year,” she said, again addressing the actor. She also criticized Smith’s apology via Instagram: “His people wrote an article and said: ‘I apologize to Chris Rock'”. She would have hoped for a more personal apology.
