US model Chrissy Teigen is back in the clinic. This time she has to endure an "endometriosis operation".

US model Chrissy Teigen (35) is undergoing an "endometriosis operation" and hopes that the "pain" will stop. She posted a photo of herself wired in the hospital bed on Thursday in an Insta story. She had announced the operation the day before rather casually in a thoughtful tweet. Most of all, it was about the unborn baby she lost in early October.

"My little Jack would have been born this week so I'm a little confused. I really feel kicks in my stomach, but it's not a phantom. I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow … but the period feeling this month is accurate like baby kicks ", Chrissy Teigen let her followers know.

Dealing with grief openly

From day one she made no secret of the great grief for the lost child she had named Jack. While still in the hospital, she posted a photo of herself, which she showed crying in the hospital bed shortly after the miscarriage. She later informed her followers of her "grief depression" and "several different therapies" that she used, "to hopefully become the same person I was". In the end she was also a little happier again.

Jack would have been the third child of Chrissy Teigen and music superstar John Legend (42). The two met in 2007 on the set of the music video "Stereo". They have been married since 2013. Their daughter Luna was born in 2016, son Miles in 2018.

Endometriosis is a chronic disease in women that can cause severe pain before and during menstrual periods and infertility.
