Chrissy Teigen has deleted her Twitter account. Before that, she explained to her approximately 14 million followers there why she was disappearing.

The Twitter account of US model Chrissy Teigen (35) is history. In several tweets to her approximately 14 million followers, she said goodbye to the social network, as reported by “People”, among others. She stated that the time she spends on Twitter no longer gives her anything positive. But first she thanked her fans and emphasized what they “created” on the site. “You have been my world for over ten years,” she wrote to her followers: “To be honest, I owe so much to this world that we have created here. I really consider so many of you to be my friends. But it is time for me to say goodbye. ”

Her “goal in life is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me”. And Teigen added, “My desire to be liked and the fear of making people angry made me someone you didn’t sign up for and a different person than I started here!” She was “deeply hurt” by this time and had not learned how to “block out the negativity”. Teigen did not announce that she would also be leaving Instagram. There she has 34 million followers.
