Chrissy Teigen: Why the model injects Botox during pregnancy

Chrissy Teigen suffers from severe pregnancy headaches. An unusual remedy helps her against this: the neurotoxin botox.

Chrissy Teigen (34) is expecting her third child with her husband John Legend (41, "All Of Me"). The 34-year-old gives regular pregnancy updates on her social media channels. Now she revealed to her fans: She is currently having Botox injected – but not for reasons of beauty. The model wants to get his pregnancy headache under control with the injections.

"I get really bad pregnancy headaches," writes Teigen on Twitter. "I was thrilled when I got permission to get Botox for the neck muscles along with a crazy combination of beta-blocker shots and radio wave frequency therapy." Thanks to this treatment, she "finally sees light at the end of the tunnel".

"Jaw botox for my teeth grinding"

She advises her female fans to see a neurologist if they have similar problems. "It's much better and safer because the neurologist is talking to your gynecologist." But Teigen also swears by the neurotoxin outside of pregnancy. "Jaw botox for my teeth grinding was a MUST with my regular headaches. With migraines you can also have it injected behind the eyebrows. Life-changing!", She explains in another tweet.

Chrissy Teigen talked about her pregnancy headaches during her pregnancy with son Miles (2). "I love being pregnant," she said in 2017 on twitter. "But the headache, my God. Can someone help me? Don't say water, Tylenol, iron or magnesium. I need witchcraft." Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been married since 2013. Daughter Luna (4) was born in 2016, son Miles followed in 2018.
