Jessica Klepser speaks out after the plane crash
Former “Alarm for Cobra 11” star Christian Oliver died in a plane crash on his way back from the Caribbean. His two daughters were also on the plane.

The plane crash of Christian Oliver and his daughters shocked many people. The children’s mother speaks out for the first time.
After the tragic plane crash in the Caribbean in which actor Christian Oliver (1972-2024) and his two daughters died on January 4th, his wife Jessica Klepser has now spoken out for the first time.
On January 5, Amy Jordan, the owner of Wundabar Pilates, where Klepser works as a Pilates instructor, posted: an emotional explanation. This comes “from Jessica Klepser and her family,” it says on the Wundabar page. “We are deeply saddened by the tragic aircraft accident on January 4, 2024, which claimed the lives of our beloved family members.”
“To be sorely missed”
Then Madita (12) and Annik (10), Oliver and Klepser’s children, are remembered. The two filed for divorce in 2021, but it has reportedly not yet been finalized: “Madita, a lively 7th grade student at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dancing, singing and performing Annik, a fourth grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognized for her gentle but strong demeanor. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug. Her passions included basketball, swimming and various art forms.” It continues: “The deep connection, infectious laughter and adventurous spirit that Madita and Annik share will be sorely missed in their communities.”
The statement ends with a request for privacy for the family “during this difficult time.”
Donations are being collected
Amy Jordan wrote in the statement that it was an “extraordinarily difficult time” for Jessica Klepser, who heads the Los Angeles regional division. She now puts the focus on helping her. A friend of Klepser’s, Sarah Silverman, set up a donation link for the family. Money is requested in lieu of flowers. “Your donations will help cover the costs of returning Christian and the girls home, funeral and memorial services, and legal costs, and will go a long way toward supporting Jessica and the extended family during this terribly difficult time,” it said it on the donation page. How People reportsalmost $50,000 has already been raised, reaching half of the fundraising goal of $100,000.
Christian Oliver was returning from a Caribbean vacation with his daughters on Thursday when the small plane crashed on the flight from the tourist island of Bequia towards the island state of St. Lucia. The pilot also died.
Known for “Alarm for Cobra 11”
Oliver gained fame in Germany primarily through his role in the action series “Alarm für Cobra 11 – The Autobahn Police”. He played Chief Inspector Jan Richter alongside “Cobra 11” veteran Erdogan Atalay (57) from 2002 to 2004. He has already commented on the accident: “It is absolutely horrific and my thoughts are with the mother. The idea of being left behind as a parent and having to endure this horror is indescribable.”
Oliver also celebrated international success in front of the camera. For example, he appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s (60) thriller “The Good German – In the Ruins of Berlin” alongside Oscar winners Cate Blanchett (54) and George Clooney (62), as well as in “Operation Walküre – Das Stauffenberg- Assassination” with Tom Cruise (61).
