Our "Tatort" stars are all millionaires! The actress Christine Urspruch (49) often hears this prejudice. She plays the right hand of Thiel (Axel Prahl, 60) and Boerne (Jan Josef Liefers, 56) in the Münster "crime scene". In an interview with the "Bild" newspaper, Urspruch chatted a little out of the box and was somewhat dissatisfied with her fee. "We have a good audience rating, around twelve million. If everyone would give us one euro, that would be great," said Urspruch.
That is of course not the case. But she would actually be happy if she only got ten percent of the fee from lead actor Liefers. He earns "over 100,000 euros" at a "crime scene": "Maybe he'll write me straight away: 'Christine, you're an idiot.'" But she doesn't care. "Of course, that's another man / woman story," says Urspruch. Even in their industry, salaries are still a long way from being aligned. "It's about success, about good negotiations," adds the actress.
