1. The Christmas Bonus
Starting with the Christmas bonus. From December 14, 2.3million households will receive a bonus of 152.45 euros minimum for a single person. And up 442.10 euros for a couple with 4 children.
The Christmas bonus will be paid to you automatically if you are on social minima. This aid, set up in 1998, represents a boost for the most vulnerable households before the end of year celebrations, explains the Minister of Solidarity.

2. The exceptional energy check
In addition to the classic energy check, the government has planned to send 12million households an exceptional energy check by the end of the year. Again, no action to take: the money will be paid directly into your account.
Its amount? 100 euros minimum for households in deciles 3 and 4, located between the poorest 20% and the wealthiest 60%. And up 200 euros for the poorest 20% of households.

3. The HLM check
Are you a social housing (HLM) tenant? Since this Monday, December 12, you can benefit from a boost of up to 600 euros in the event of financial difficulties in the face of soaring energy costs.
To receive this aid, you must be a tenant of social housing, have suffered an increase in your charges of at least 100 euros per month or face a regularization of your expenses of more than 1000 euros over the last 12 months. In addition, your remaining living must be less than 15 euros per person per day.
If so, contact your social landlord directly. It is he who will be responsible for compiling your file on the Soli’Aide online platform. In total, 75000 households could be concerned, according to Action Logement.

4. The wood heating check
If you are one of 2.6million households who heat themselves with wood, by the end of the year you will be entitled to assistance between 50 and 200 euros. Provided, however, that you earn less than 2260 euros if you alone or 4750 euros for a couple with two children.
You can request this assistance on the chequenergie.gouv.fr website from December 22, 2022. You will only be asked for your teledeclarant number, used to declare your taxes online.

5. The exceptional fuel oil energy check
To complete its arsenal of measures to deal with the rise in energy prices, the government has provided for an exceptional fuel oil energy check. Result? From November 7, households whose annual reference tax income is less than 10,800 euros will receive aid of 200 euros. And households whose annual reference tax income is between 10,800 euros and 20,000 euros will receive a check for 100 euros.
The payment of this aid will be automatic if you have already benefited from the energy check for the year 2022. Otherwise, you can request your exceptional fuel oil check via the online counter of the Ministry of Energy Transition. In total, 1.6million households would be affected by this device.

Bonus: a repair bonus for the appliance
Has your washing machine or fridge broken down? From December 15, 2022, you can also benefit from a bonus for the repair of 10 45 euros. The amount of the aid will be directly deducted from the cost of the repair.
In total, more than thirty devices will be able to benefit from this bonus. On two conditions. Your devices should no longer be under warranty. And the repair must be carried out by a professional who has obtained the QualiRpar label.
