The good news of the day: the price of gas is finally falling

For the first time since its creation last July, the benchmark price of gas fell between December and January. According to the recommendations published this Monday by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), the rate considered reasonable for kWh increases from 0.104 euros per kWh to 0.099 euros for household heating and from 0.127 euros per kWh to 0.123 euros for a hot water household and cooking. Another reason for satisfaction for launching 2024, the CRE still recommends an annual price of between 102.94 euros and 257.18 euros per year for the subscription.
