Christmas joy – LH visits widowers and half-orphans as a package messenger

Thomas Stelzer visits the grieving family in the Kirchdorf district who lost their wife and mother in August. The governor comes with gifts and gives Stefan (38) and his children Lena Mia (5) and Jonas (1.5) comfort during this difficult time. The little ones in particular are extremely happy about the guest.

Lena Mia is excited. “The governor is coming to visit,” dad Stefan announced. The five-year-old specially put on her favorite blue dress. Brother Jonas (1.5) also senses that there is something exciting in the air. Sweater drooled on. There are cookies on the table and the candles on the Advent wreath are lit. Lena Mia takes a chocolate cookie. “Mmm, that tastes good,” she enthuses to her little brother. And now he wants one too, but he drools all over his sweater. Great-aunt Sigrid (51) patiently puts a new one on the boy. Then you hear a car and headlights can be seen. Jonas waves happily through the window into the darkness. On the window sill there are photos of his mother Birgit, who died on October 21st after a long, serious illness. And on the wall there is a picture of Grandma Angela (64), who died unexpectedly in May. Glitter belt, tie and a song There is a knock – and Thomas Stelzer is standing in the door, greeting the family. “Hello, hello,” says Lena Mia and proudly shows the governor the glittering belt on her dress. “Are you a princess?” he jokes. “I’m starting school,” explains the girl. How old her brother is? Stelzer wants to know. “I don’t notice, it’s been so long,” says Lena Mia. The governor takes a seat on the corner bench, and the children sit down next to him, curious. He even gets to try Lena Mia’s favorite cookies. She also sings him a song. Meanwhile, Jonas grabs Stelzer’s tie and tugs on it with joy. The governor lets him have his way. Then he suddenly remembers that he had met a harbinger of the Christ child on the way. Celebrities unpacking packages are brought in and dad Stefan allows the children to open them. Stelzer helps Jonas untie the loop. Then the boy tears up the paper and pulls out a train set; the prominent guest helps him set up the switches and tracks. Lena Mia lets out a scream of ecstasy: She has unpacked a Frozen “Elsa” doll with all the accessories: “It’s absolutely beautiful, thank you!” The children are happy and dad Stefan can at least suppress his pain for a few moments. “Merry Christmas,” the state governor wishes and heads home. Little Jonas waves to him again through the window into the darkness.Dear readers!
