Actor turns Amazon series

Amazon has commissioned the dark comedy series “The Consultant” – and Christoph Waltz will be the main actor in it.
“The Consultant” becomes the Amazon series. Hollywood star Christoph Waltz (65) is supposed to play the leading role in the dark comedy. The reports, among other things, “The Hollywood Reporter”. The project is based on the novel of the same name by Bentley Little (60) from 2015.
According to the report, the series – which should be both humorous and exciting – will be about the problematic relationship between a boss and his employees. And how far workers go to move forward and survive. Series creator and showrunner is Tony Basgallop (53). It is directed by Matt Shakman (46). Along with Waltz, the two are also producers of the series.
Next series project for Waltz
“The Consultant” is the second series that Waltz is now tackling. He also stars in “Most Dangerous Game”. The American TV show was extended by a second season in August, according to “The Hollywood Reporter”.
Waltz won the Oscars for Best Supporting Actor in 2010 and 2013 for his roles in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” and “Django Unchained”. Most recently he was in front of the camera for “The French Dispatch”, the “James Bond” flick “No Time to Die” and “Alita: Battle Angel”.
