Interviewed by 7 Days TVFrédéric Lopez confided the behind-the-scenes secrets of his show A Sunday in the countryside broadcast on February 18, 2024. A filming which left many memories for the host, in particular because of his guest Christophe Dechavanne. “You welcome the television man Christophe Dechavanne, the actor Stéphane De Groodt and the writer Aurélie Valognes. How did the recording go?” asked our colleagues.
He answers : “It was really nice. Christophe, not knowing the identity of the other guests, was stressed. He was relieved to see Stéphane De Groodt, whom he adores, arrive. As for Aurélie Valognes, she confided to me that she watched La Parenthese unexpected ten years earlier and dreamed of participating in it one day. This was actually one of her motivations when she wrote her first book. (Laughs)“.
The 56-year-old presenter then expressed his admiration for Léa Salamé’s sidekick in the show What an era broadcast every Saturday on France 2 in the second half of the evening. “Do we receive a TV pro like Christophe Dechavanne in the same way as artists or writers?“Frédéric Lopez was quick to respond:”It’s different. Very touched by one of the subjects raised during filming, Christophe Dechavanne even wanted to have one of the scenes cut during editing. “Christophe confided a lot. I discovered a side of him that I didn’t know. He even broke down emotionally on a subject that you will discover during the broadcast.
