Christophe Dechavanne: his rant against the French in the midst of Covid-19: Current Woman The MAG

The barrier gestures, the mask, the hydroalcoholic gel, the curfew … Since February 2020 and the first devastation of the Covid-19 epidemic in France, the French have learned to live with new rules, to slow the spread of the virus. Yet as the government tries to avoid a third lockdown, it is increasingly difficult for citizens to respect these constraints, all the more so with the reappearance of sunny days. Indeed, Saturday February 20, 2021 marked the return of the great sun in France after a period of intense cold. The opportunity for many French people to meet in the streets to take advantage of the spring temperatures. Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille… In big cities, many groups have formed in the streets, and many photos have been shared on social networks. One of the Internet users shocked by this relaxation of the French is Bertrand Hadet, journalist at BFM TV, who on Twitter accompanied clichés of crowds with a vitriolic text: "Paris this afternoon. Masks worn perfectly, social distancing respected to the millimeter, and it's not like we have a more contagious variant." A rant that was shared by a figure of the PAF: Christophe Dechavanne.

Christophe Dechavanne lost a friend, died of the coronavirus

The host and producer retweeted his colleague's message and called the situation "hopeless". The member of Big heads often talks about Covid-19 on social networks and his annoyance at the lack of distancing can be understood. In fact, in December 2020, he announced the death of one of his relatives, swept away by the coronavirus. At the time, the vaccination campaign had not yet started and the 63-year-old host was upset: "My friend Eric who died last Wednesday would have been vaccinated, it is he who would write there. It is not possible if we are listened to offer time".
