For years, Christophe Dechavanne has hosted television shows with his dog. Whether in The wheel of fortune or A gold family, two programs he presented on TF1, Ninon's father was with his Jack Russel who answered Adeck's sweet name. Like his master, the dog has been rather rare on television sets in recent years, and for good reason it was aging.
"He begins to be deaf like a pot", even laughed Christophe Dechavanne in September 2019 during an interview with TV Star. Unfortunately, it was the age that won Adeck, who died. "I hope they have a pool up there! Hi buddy i will miss you adeck", noted the host on Twitter Wednesday, June 17, 2020, captioned a photo of his"poto"jumping into a swimming pool.
More than a dog, a mascot!
The dog was obviously the mascot of The wheel of fortune or A gold family, but it was also a phenomenon in stores or on the net. Adeck had a page Facebook which collected nearly 6,000 fans and a stuffed toy was even offered for sale in the early 2010s. At the time, 50,000 plush toys were sold in shops.
Finally, proof that Christophe Dechavanne and Adeck were inseparable, in addition to appearing on the shows together, they went as a duo to press conferences like the one organized by TF1 at the Olympia in August 2007 where they had made photographers happy.
