“Yes, I probably screwed up. I neglected the big one a little because I took care of the little one a lot, but for my son, it’s more complicated”, he confided to Frédéric Lopez’s microphone with emotion. And to add: “It’s very difficult not to talk about it because I can’t say that I don’t have three children. I have three, who I love just as much.” This did not prevent the television host from using strong words towards his son for whom he believes he has “was forced to mourn.”

Hesitating for a few moments, Christophe Dechavanne clarified that his son was indeed alive. “He is alive, but he is no longer there, neither for me nor for his sisters.”, he confided on the set of A Sunday in the Country. A situation “very difficult to live with” for the television host who, however, did not elaborate on the reasons which deteriorated his relationship with his son. “Since 2013, I saw him for five minutes, in 2015, at my daughter’s wedding”he explains.
