Parisian, the musician, who had tested positive for Covid-19, had been treated in a hospital in the Capital for several days, then had been transferred to Brest. Christophe's career marked by success

Daniel Bevilacqua, better known by the pseudonym Christophe, was born on October 13, 1945 in Juvisy-sur-Orge in Essonne. From his earliest childhood, he was passionate about rock thanks to Elvis Presley. When he wanted to be a singer, he learned to play the guitar and the harmonica. A few years later, he joined the groups Danny Baby and the Hooligans before starting a solo career after military service. In 1963 he recorded the first single called Come back Sophie, who does not meet the expected success. Two years later, the artist finally made a place for himself in the middle thanks to his tube Aline.

A remarkable return in the 70s

In the early 70s, he returned to the front of the stage with some catchy songs including Evil, My passengers, Rock Monsieur and Together. A few years later, he released his album The blue words, an opus which will meet an immense success. In 2019, the famous musician unveiled two albums of covers of his own songs Christophe, etc, in duet with other artists. When the coronavirus crisis arrived in France, the artist should have resumed his tour. His two concerts at the Grand Rex, scheduled for April 29 and 30, 2020, were thus postponed to September 28 and 29.
