To get this month of March off to a flying start, Google is announcing the arrival of three new features for its web browser, Google Chrome. Very practical, these will allow you to benefit from better search suggestions, even with a poor internet connection.

It’s now been a week since version 122 of Google Chrome was available for download. One of the major new features of this update obviously concerns the further integration of AI within the browser. Determined to continue its efforts to improve the comfort of its users, the Mountain View firm has just lifted the veil on three new features designed to optimize search suggestions in Chrome.

Chrome will use your previous searches and those of users to optimize suggestions

In recent years, Google has greatly accelerated its efforts to make its services ever more accessible. Just this week, the American company rolled out a very handy feature in Google Maps, giving users the ability to navigate more easily from their smartphone’s lock screen. The Mountain View giant has now announced the arrival of three functions aimed at making suggestions more useful in Google Chrome.

On desktop, users of the world’s most popular web browser will now be able to benefit from search suggestions based on what others are searching for. Once connected to their Google account, all they have to do is open a new tab to see different suggestions linked to their previous searches.

For example, if you recently searched for a Korean dish, Google will suggest other popular Korean dishes that users often search for. With this feature, Chrome undoubtedly wants to make it easier for you to discover new things while adapting to your wishes.

On mobile, expand your search horizons with Google Chrome

On mobile, Chrome users will be able to see more images for suggested searches. Previously, Google only displayed images for search suggestions for a specific product. However, the iOS and Android versions of the browser will now display images for broader product categories.

To top it off, the mobile version of Chrome will allow users to see search suggestions even when the network connection is poor. So, if a page encounters some difficulty launching, you will still be able to see the search proposals suggested by Google appear. Practical, isn’t it?
