The AI ​​war is officially launched: Microsoft has integrated ChatGPT into Bing and Edge, for its part Google has presented Bard, its conversational chatbot based on LaMDA. The latter would arrive in ChromeOS, the operating system for Chromebooks.

How will we be able to use Bard on a Chromebook?

Although we could obviously use Bard on Google’s search engine directly, the integration would be deeper on Chromebooks. ChromeOS being developed by Google, the latter can push the uses of its conversational AI further.

If the experimental function is activated, then the launcher would no longer use the integrated search functions: the search for files, applications and results on Google. Bard could, for example, appear on a separate page on the ChromeOS menu, as it does with Google Assistant today.
