Now she explains the reason for the four-week radio silence: Kavazi had several Infections caught. “Unfortunately, I was infected with rubella six days before the birth, which was not without its consequences. It is extremely dangerous for pregnant women,” she tells her 432,000 followers in her Instagram stories. The viruses can also be very dangerous for newborns.

The infection shortly before the birth completely drained the “GZSZ” star’s immune system. The result was six days of 40 degree fever and a total of a week and a half in the hospital. “Nobody really knew what was going on because apparently this rubella infection was followed by a bacterial infection because my body was so weak that everything came at once,” explains Kavazi.

Chryssanthi Kavazi is now over the worst. “I’m already feeling better. But I think I still need a little bit. It’s getting better day by day. I’m being very well looked after here by my friends and family,” she reports on her social media channel . Her newborn daughter is also doing well. The 35-year-old is confident that they are “on the way up again.”

At home she wants to take it easy with her baby, her four-year-old son and the children’s father, Tom Beck (46). “Luckily Tom was in the hospital with us, who did a really great job – best husband and best dad ever,” she enthuses about the actor, to whom she married in 2018.

The series actress gave birth to her daughter on April 24th on her Instagram account announced. “We are head over heels in love with the little mouse and our hearts are jumping with happiness,” she wrote alongside a photo of the baby’s feet.
