Chucky Season 3: A start date is rarely announced so unusually

The horror series “Chucky” has been officially renewed for a third season. The killer doll will once again be up to mischief and, according to producer Don Mancini, will deliver the scariest season ever.

The overwhelming response to the second season gave the starting signal for another and so the upcoming episodes will be shown again on the broadcasters USA Network, Syfy and the US streaming service Peacock.

Chucky Season 3: Launch

In a special press conference, Chucky announced the start date for the third season of his series “Chucky”. The new episodes of the killer doll will start on October 4, 2023. In Germany, the series will be shown a few days later on the pay TV channel Syfy.

When asked if Jennifer Tilly aka Tiffany Valentine, Jennifer Tilly and Tiffany Doll will be back, Chucky has happier answers, suggesting that “she always comes back”.

Chucky Season 3: Storyline

After attempting to raid all of America’s children’s hospitals in season one but being stopped by teenagers Jake, Devon and Lexy, killer doll Chucky seeks revenge in season two. Next to his ex Tiffany, Chucky wants to get rid of the teenagers once and for all and forges new cruel plans.

So far, Lexy and “Jevon” have managed to escape the killer doll and thwart his plans. What is certain, however, is that Chucky will not give up so easily and will do everything in the new season to defeat his archenemies, win back old allies and find new prey.

Chucky Season 3: Cast

The original voice of the killer doll Chucky will probably continue to be spoken by the American actor Brad Dourif. Zackary Arthur (“Transparent”) plays the leading role of young Jake Webber. Alyvia Alyn Lind (“Shadow of Passion”) as Lexy Taylor and Björgvin Arnarson (“Trip”) as Devon will also return. Jennifer Tilly (“High Holiday”) will also be there again, although her role is still unclear. Devon Sawa (“Who Are You People”), on the other hand, is apparently no longer there.

The series is being produced by Universal Content Productions and is executive produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe. Mancini, who is also the creator of the “Chucky” film series, also came up with the idea for the series.

According to NBCU, “Chucky” ranked among the top ten shows last year in the 18-49 demographic.
