CI Games: At least four more games besides The Lords of the Fallen by 2027, including a Sniper Ghost Warrior

Known in particular for having in its catalog the licenses Lords of the Fallen and Sniper Ghost Warrior, CI Games gradually continues to make a name for itself in the middle of the video game industry. A situation that the Polish company obviously intends to exploit to the maximum in the years to come. According to a document intended for investors relayed yesterday by Eurogamer, the Warsaw firm plans to release at least four more games in addition to The Lords of the Fallen between 2023 and 2027.

A new Sniper Ghost Warrior in 2024 and more

Regarding the franchises already known to the public, players will be delighted to learn that the launch of The Lords of the Fallen is scheduled for next year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S and that the title is well presented as a Souls-like acting as a complete reboot for the series. The Hexworks studio should tell us more about its gameplay by the end of the year (during the Game Awards ceremony for example?).

Another announcement, following the critical success of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2a new episode of the saga SGW is in preparation. Unfortunately, we will have to be patient before learning more because its marketing is not envisaged before 2024. Just note that it is developed under the direction of Underdog Studio with the support of an external partner whose identity has not been revealed.

Still according to this same document, CI Games also indicates that, in parallel with the design of these two productions, its internal studios are working on three projects unknown to the general public, all of which are from unpublished IPs.

The first, Project Surviveis, as its code name suggests, a survival game designed under Unreal Engine 5 by Hexworks in collaboration with BatFields, a Czech company founded in October 2020 by the three creators of BadFly Interactive that you may know for the license Dead Effect. Its launch window is set around 2023-2024.

A little later, around 2024-2025, Underdog should offer us Project Scorpio, a premium multiplayer tactical shooter focused on an all-PvE experience. Unsurprisingly, he will adopt a business model typical of service games (or Game As A Service) with regular addition of new content after release.

As for Project III, this is the production that we know the least about given that its commercialization is not expected before 2025-2026 at the earliest. Entirely overseen by Hexworks, this title will apparently be an action-RPG with “ambitious gameplay mechanics designed for a wide audience” no further details at this time.

A future also focused on publishing and transmedia projects

In addition to focusing on the titles mentioned above, the Warsaw firm clearly explains to investors that it wants to continue supporting the development of projects from other studios through its publishing label United Label (Tails of Iron, Roki, Eldest Souls) created in 2017. Even if it is still very vague, she hopes to have the opportunity to add “one to three high quality games per year” to its catalog over the next five years.

Also note that, from 2025, CI Games wishes to have acquired enough experience and reputation in order to offer its services to other companies, particularly in terms of technological expertise, as well as to collaborate with various partners. and varied in order to export its licenses to several markets such as mobile, VR, cinema, TV, board games and books. To be continued.
