(CercleFinance.com) – Cie des Alpes announces that its consolidated turnover for the 1st quarter of the 2023/24 financial year (period from October 1 to December 31, 2023) reached 200.3 ME, a decrease of 1% compared to that of the 1st quarter of the previous financial year.
In detail, activity remained stable in Ski areas and outdoor activities, at 66.7 ME, increased by 0.2% in Leisure parks (119.7 ME), but fell by 14.2% in the Distribution & hospitality (13.9 ME).
In terms of prospects, and taking into account the dynamism of activity recorded since the start of the financial year and until January 12, 2024, the group says it is ‘very confident’ for the Ski areas and outdoor activities activity.
The group is also confident in the continuation of the season of the Distribution & Hospitality division and adds that in 2024 the attractiveness of Leisure Parks will benefit from the 35th anniversary of Parc Astérix, the reopening of Aqualibi or even structuring new features coming to Bellewaerde, Walibi Rhône-Alpes or even Futuroscope.
