Cindy Crawford: Daughter Kaia “steals” her look

“Baby stole my look,” writes Cindy Crawford, 55, in her latest Instagram post. This includes two photos, the first shows her daughter, the second shows her herself. Kaia Gerber, 20, is following in Mama’s footsteps with the photo shop for the American “Elle”.

Both women are wearing exactly the same outfit in the photos, consisting of dark blue jeans and a cropped knitted sweater with the American flag. The pose of the model-mom-daughter duo is also similar: while Kaia holds onto the belt loops of her jeans with her fingers and thus frees her stomach a little more, Mama Cindy has her hands in her front pockets.

The only difference between the two pictures: Cindy’s photo, which was shot by Gilles Bensimon in 1994, is printed in black and white on the cover of the fashion magazine, Kaia’s picture, which Nathaniel Goldberg took, can be found in color in the magazine. So there are 27 years between the two recordings, but the staging still seems to work.

Many followers: both Cindy and Kaia express their admiration, some write that they did not recognize who is who at first glance. “Wow, at first I thought it was you, Cindy,” writes about one. Kaia Gerber no longer needs to fear comparisons with her famous mother, the 20-year-old has long since made a name for herself as a model, has been featured on the cover of “Elle” a few times, and is often booked for fashion shows.
