Cindy Crawford celebrates her 56th birthday on February 20th. To mark her big day, the supermodel on Instagram an old black and white photo of a child posted by himself. On it Crawford sits as a little girl in a white ruffled dress and with two braids next to a large cream cake and beams. In the post, she also addressed a few words of wisdom to her younger self.

“I would advise her to be kinder to herself, to treat herself like she treats her friends. I would tell her that everyone is nervous in new situations and that sometimes you just have to fake it until you can do it has,” said Crawford. She would also advise her younger self not to be afraid to “make a fool of herself – dance, sing, etc. – even if she’s not good at it”. Instead, you should rather laugh as much as possible.
