CINEMA: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, a sensational trailer where Jason Momoa shows who is the king

Start of the week, Warner Bros. Pictures broadcast a short teaser for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomhis next superheroic feature film expected at the end of the year and whose communication was non-existent. The first elements shown were promising, despite a fairly standard scenario on paper, and we therefore had an appointment on Thursday to discover a real first trailer for the project. Here she is and she is already putting all the cards on her side to seduce the audience.

Trailer VOSTFR

Already, if you had anything to do with the legal affair between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, you will have noticed that his character Mera only appears in close-up once, but can be seen in a few shots with his red hair. A punchy scene already diverted into a meme on the Web. Whether her role in the film was actually reduced following her setbacks or planned as is, we shouldn’t see much of her on screen.

The video highlights the new statutes ofArthur Curry (Jason Momoa) taking stock of his situation since the first film. So he married Merahad a child with it and got a small job as king ofAtlantis. Seeing his costumeAquaman lying with the rest of his laundry is actually quite amusing. And even if he is not unanimous among his many subjects, he will therefore have to protect them by facing a threat from the past: THE Black Trident and its new carrier Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). The latter intends to kill our hero and destroy everything he cares about, including his kingdom, out of pure revenge…

The black magic of its new destructive accessory sports a green aesthetic which extends to its army of creatures that we would believe came from beyond the grave, which is ultimately not unlike Thor: Ragnarok with Hela. As an aid, Aquaman so go and bring out his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) from prisonwho remains in good physical shape despite his incarceration, and will have to unite the Seven Kingdoms under his banner. An agreed plot, which should at least amaze us thanks to its settings and its action scenes.
