The Phase 4 from mcu will be completed at the end of the year with the release in theaters of Black Panther: Wakanda Forevera feature film which will obviously be marked by the mourning of the king T’Challa performed by the late Chadwick Boseman, but whose ambitions will go far beyond this tribute. We were able to discover an already very striking first glimpse on the occasion of the San Diego Comic-Con this summer and now marvel studios broadcast now a trailer that further sheds light on the threat posed by Namor within the plot of the film.
VOSTFR trailer
The one who calls himself K’uk’ulkan and is revered as the god of Mayan myths will lead the forces of his undersea kingdom to the surface, for some as yet undisclosed reason, though the insistence on attacking a ship suggests that he is. the cause. Like in the comics Namor will have small wings at the ankles used to “fly” and, yes, he will be a mutant as confirmed by its interpreter Tenoch Huerta Mejía at Empire. A direct threat to the surface world, it will attack the Wakandawhich can always count on its Dora Milaje, Okoye in the lead (Danai Gurira), but also Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) of which we discover her armor ofiron heart at angles serving the teaser without showing too much and even his internal vision which recalls that ofIron Man / Tony Stark. M’Baku (Winston Duke) will also come to defend the capital, but it will clearly not be him who will succeed T’Challa in the costume of the superhero.
Without real surprise, Black Panther will be a woman and, although we do not see who is hiding under this new armor, there is almost no doubt that it is shuri, in particular because of the facial marks found on his helmet. Furthermore, the beautiful new poster accompanying the trailer highlights Letitia Wright. This promotional visual also operates a nice mirror game between the Wakandan and the Atlanteans.
