When Borderlands saw its casting process and its filming follow one another quickly in 2020 and 2021, we were hopeful to see it land quickly on our screens. However, the film directed by Eli Roth with Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanun, Gina Gershon, Edgar Ramirez or even Janina Gavankar has still not been released, and had even had to go through a session of reshoot driven by Tim Miller earlier this year.
So when can we finally see it in theaters? Rest assured, the project has not been canceled and is still relevant, and lionsgate has just given it a release date. It is however very distant, because the feature film Borderlands won’t arrive in US theaters until August 9, 2024and probably not before that week in our French cinemas.
At least the schedule is set. Can we now hope for a teaser trailer or even a first trailer this summer to get us in the mood? Just cross your fingers for that. Until then, Borderlands 3 is available from €13.08 on Amazon.co.uk.
