In recent years, the license Ghostbusters has made its return both in theaters and on our consoles, to the delight of ghost hunters. We thus had on the one hand the Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed of IllFonic offering a gameplay asymmetrical in 4v1 and who offered himself an edition Ecto at the end of last year, and on the other, the virtual reality game Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord of nDreams. At the cinema, after the failed attempt to reboot feminine in 2016, it is a real third episode which saw the light of day in 2021 with Ghostbusters: Legacy / Ghostbusters: Afterlife, headlined by Paul Rudd. The success was sufficient to ensure that Sony Pictures order a suite called Ghostbusters: The Ice Menace / Ghostbusters: Frozen Empirestill with Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan at the helm, although the latter is this time director. Its release is already scheduled for March 22, 2024 in the United States and it has just received a second trailer to start the week off right.

If you missed the previous one, you can find it below. It was mainly used to teaser the intrigue of this fourth part which also gives it its title, since it is a threat worthy of The day after which hits the east coast of the United States during a heatwave.
This new insight reveals that the danger comes from a spherical artifact detained by Nadeem Razmaadi (Kumail Nanjiani), who will provoke a large-scale ghost attack on New York as he tries to sell it. Faced with such danger, Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd), Trevor Spengler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucky Domingo (Celeste O’Connor), Callie (Carrie Coon) and Phoebe Spengler (Mckenna Grace) are going to have to fight alongside the very first Ghostbusters Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Peter Venkman (Bill Murray). L’Ecto-1 will obviously be there, as will spirits known as mini Bibendum Chamallow And Slimer.

On the other hand, we will have to be a little more patient than our neighbors across the Atlantic, because the French release date of Ghostbusters: The Ice Menace is set for Wednesday April 10. Until then, you have plenty of time to rewatch the previous ones, the Blu-ray box set of which is sold for €15.92 on Amazon.
