Cinema Live: follow the complete winners of the 75th Cannes Film Festival

After the slap of “Titanium”, rewarded in 2021, the games are open for the Palme d’Or awarded on Saturday evening, between a young director who questions masculinity (“Close”), a South Korean thriller or the film of the brothers Dardenne who could get an unprecedented hat-trick.

After viewing the 21 films in competition, the jury chaired by Vincent Lindon withdrew in the greatest secrecy, to choose who will receive a Palme more chic than ever: encrusted with 100 diamonds for this 75th edition.

Before getting into the hard part, “The Good Stars” by Japanese director Kore-eda, a film about a mother abandoning her baby, in the running for the Palme d’Or, won the Ecumenical Jury Prize. Another film in the competition that has already been rewarded: “Boy from heaven” by Tarik Saleh, immersed in the mysteries of politico-religion in Egypt, was awarded the François Chalais prize, which rewards a film that translates “the best the reality of the world.
