It’s a classic of the quizzes that we regularly offer: poster zooms to recognize. With this time, nine details of film posters from the 90s, which you will have to try to identify to achieve no fault!
A year has already passed since this cycle of quizzes that we proposed to you on the details of film posters, with one quiz per decade from the 80s to the 2010s. These themes having received a favorable reception, it is time to revisit the concept for a new cycle starting with the 90s!
But before you start, here are some examples of what we were able to offer you in last year’s game, which you can still play here if you wish.
The first image showed for example a simple brown suitcase, possibly located under a bench, all on a white background. It was the setting resuming the opening scene of Forrest Gump, with Tom Hanks sitting on his bench, his suitcase on his knees, chatting with passers-by to tell them his amazing story.
A second image proposed in a bluish atmosphere, a hand joined on a back. But then was it Sharon Stone’s pose on Michael Douglas on the Basic Instinct poster, or maybe Nicole Kidman’s on Tom Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut? No, none of that, it was actually the embrace between Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore on the poster for the fantasy movie Ghost.
Finally, another image, perhaps one of the most enigmatic in this quiz, with a black pyramid surrounded by a bright yellow light, and in front of it a very small blue planet strangely resembling the Earth, with a sky in the background dark starry. Was it Luc Besson’s Fifth Element, or maybe Paul Verhoeven’s Starship Troopers? It was a film by the Dutch director that had to be recognized, but Total Recall!
So off we go for nine new zooms to try to identify, again with only films from the 90s.
