Cinema Quiz: are you a fan of the 90s? Prove it !

Are you a fan of the 90s? Do you still remember the posters for cult films from this decade? So try to complete these nine taglines by finding the missing words!

A few weeks ago, we offered you a quiz covering some of the most famous taglines of the 80s, these catchphrases found on film posters, the aim being to find the words that we had erased.

Today we are taking up this concept by changing the decade to focus on the 90s. In the previous quiz, we started with a film from the very end of the 70s, Ridley Scott’s SF monument Alien released in 1979, with the one of the most famous taglines in the history of cinema: “In space, no one will hear you scream”.

A simple sentence which already lays the foundations for what awaits spectators: the emptiness of space, isolation, and the horror to come. A brilliant idea which seems to be the work of one of the creators behind the film, screenwriter Dan O’Bannon.

Another very famous catchphrase from the 80s was present in this quiz, that of another pinnacle of fantasy cinema of that decade, Robocop, by director Paul Verhoeven.

Again in a few words, “50% man, 50% machine, 100% cop”, spectators could anticipate the coming story of police officer Alex Murphy, who after being left for dead following an operation, will ultimately be brought back to life by a team of scientists, using robotic prostheses.

The quiz also looked at the adaptation of Stephen King’s famous novel Christine, by the no less famous director John Carpenter. The story of this red Plymouth a little too attached to its owner, and developing a certain murderous jealousy towards its rivals made of flesh and blood, a little too present for his taste. And the tagline asks this question, again at the heart of the film: “How to kill what is not alive?”.

In this quiz you will find nine other taglines to complete, all from the 90s this time. Up to you !
