If many cinema houses, and especially the interiors, are in reality only studio buildings, other iconic residences do exist, and can even still be inhabited or visited.
There is for example the sumptuous and luxurious villa of Tony Montana, famous gangster of Brian De Palma’s Scarface. If this huge palace is in Miami, Florida in the film, it is actually actually located in California, not far from the city of Santa Barbara, and you can even rent it if you feel like it, but you will have to similarly shell out $30,000 for the month.
Another house, also very real, is that of little Kevin from Mom I missed the plane, which you can see if you walk towards the shores of Lake Michigan near the town of Winnetka. On the other hand, no rental possible, the house being currently inhabited.
Some TV series houses also exist in real life. This is the case of the Halliwell sisters’ mansion in Charmed, located on the heights of Los Angeles, which you can afford for the tidy sum of 1,250,000 dollars. It should be noted, of course, that the interior scenes were shot in the studio, and not in the said house.
