CINEMA: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Woman and a bunch of Spider-People from the Multiverse in an exhilarating second trailer

Thanks to its crazy artistic direction, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse aka Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a great success in the cinema, and after, when it was released in 2018: you can get it on Blu-ray on Amazon.co.uk from €14.98. Proud of his project Sony Pictures Animation decided to give her two suites, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (formerly Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II).

A first trailer allowed us to discover a dialogue between Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), the Spider Gwen from another universe, before an encounter with Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Issac) Spider Man 2099 in person. Now that’s ita second trailer teaches us more about the multiverse of this sequel.

As the subtitle suggests, our young hero will now travel through alternate worlds, where he will also come across Jessica Drew aka Spider Woman (Issa Rae), Hobart Brown aka Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya) and a bunch of other costume wearersSpider Man already quickly visible on the screen. Problem: others Spider People, who are fighting “to protect their very existence”, seem to want to harm the protagonist, with whom they are in conflict over “how to deal with a new threat”. Besides, the Peter Parker and the Miles Morales video game Marvel’s Spider-Man seem to be present in the trailer, which fans will clearly have fun dissecting to find all the easter eggs.

Jefferson Davis (Brian Tyree Henry), Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), Rio Morales (Luna Lauren Velez) and Lyla (Greta Lee) will also be back on screen, as a reminder. Jonathan Ohnn a.k.a Task (Jason Schwartzman) Robert Stacy (Shea Whigham) and Adrian Toomes a.k.a The vulture (Jorma Taccone) will be introduced for the first time. Following a heavy postponement, the release date of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versedirected by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham, is set for June 2, 2023 across the Atlantic, and to date still unknown in France. The third installment is scheduled for March 29, 2024 in the United States.
