CINEMA: The Exorcist: Believer, chilling first trailer for the new film in the saga

The Exorcist by William Friedkin is still today one of the most terrifying horror films ever made and it has obviously been emulated with direct sequels, spin-offs or movies on the same theme. And soon, David Gordon Green, director of the final trilogy Halloweenwill bring his stone to the building.

Blumhouse just revealed the first trailer for The Exorcist: Believer, which already promises thrills. The story will follow a father whose daughter is inhabited by a demon and who decides to call on a woman who has already experienced this situation in the past to help him. Yes, Ellen Burstyn will reprise her role as Chris MacNeil In The Exorcist: Believershe who already played the mother of Regan 50 years ago. And Linda Blair will also be in the cast, although she does not yet appear in the trailer, unlike the first film’s theme music (which is none other than Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield).

Blumhouse found a perfect date for the release of The Exorcist: Believer at the cinema, it will be Friday, October 13, 2023 in the United States, and two short days before in France.
